As the water begins to cool off again in September, the Salmon and Trout fishing get hot again. These trips again are trolling for Salmon or fly fishing for Brook Trout. This lasts until the middle of October. Another thing that's hot this time of year is the fall foliage, so why not come and enjoy the colors of Acadia.

For the hardy, ice fishing season runs from January 1, until March 31. It's the time to see Acadia, especially if you enjoy cross country skiing or snowmobiling. Almost every weekend in February there is a fishing derby in the area. There derbies offer lots of fun as well as lots of prizes, so book well in advance.
